Volleyball Recap: Keislyn Poss' Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Paul over Minden

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Minden Whippets. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Whippets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

St. Paul lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Keislyn Poss, who had ten digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Zaya Lewis, who had 18 assists and five digs.

Minden found their leader in sophomore Victoria Hansen, who had eight digs and two aces.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Minden, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.

St. Paul has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chadron on the 20th. As for Minden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Gothenburg on the 20th.
