Snohomish is 9-1 against Everett since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seagulls at 4:00 p.m. Snohomish is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
Snohomish took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Marysville-Pilchuck get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Maddy Larsen made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Edwards, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Allison Rush was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Snohomish always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Everett couldn't beat Monroe on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Seagulls lost 17-7 to the Bearcats. The Seagulls have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Snohomish pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Everett, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
