 Oceanside had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 runs), and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They never let the San Pasqual Golden Eagles onto the board and left with  a   1-0  win. For Oceanside, this counts as revenge for the   6-5 loss San Pasqual walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2023.
 Not much got past  Zach Small, who gave up just  two  hits to keep San Pasqual off the board. Small has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Oceanside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Isaac Hernandez, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games he's  played.

 Oceanside has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 10-6-2 record  this season. As for San Pasqual, they now  have a losing record at 9-10.
 Oceanside will have a chance to go back-to-back against San Pasqual: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
