Baseball Recap: Collingswood Find Success

Collingswood let Cedar Creek stack four runs on them in the sixth inning on Monday but luckily Collingswood prevailed anyway. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Pirates 5-4. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Chase Ladik was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Abe Katz also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Collingswood picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Cedar Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Coming up, Collingswood is taking a road trip to challenge Paulsboro at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Cherokee at 11:00 a.m.
