Basketball Recap: Martinsville Comes Up Short

Martinsville suffered their biggest defeat since January 24th on Monday. They took a blow against the George Washington Eagles, falling 86-55. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Martinsville still got an impressive performance from Emauri Tinsley, who went 8-for-12 from beyond the arc to rack up 35 points. The dominant performance gave Tinsley a new career-high in points. Jayden Stockton was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Martinsville's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for George Washington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
