Ewing skates past Hightstown with ease

Recap: Ewing Blue Devils vs. Hightstown Rams

Make it nine blowout wins for the Ewing Blue Devils this season. They claimed a resounding 59-32 win over Hightstown on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Ewing has posted against Hightstown since February 14, 2019.

Leading Ewing to victory were Te'Yala Delfosse and Rhian Stokes. Delfosse dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Stokes dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals. Stokes is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joi Johnson, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Ewing is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Hightstown, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ewing will take on St. John-Vianney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hightstown, Hightstown and Hamilton will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hamilton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Hightstown is ranked 71st).
