Volleyball Recap: Alton Redbirds vs. Collinsville Kahoks
Alton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Collinsville Kahoks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redbirds of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Alton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23.
Alton's loss dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Collinsville, they now have a winning record of 15-14-2.
