Bad Axe waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings 73-20. The Hatchets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bad Axe's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Akron-Fairgrove, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Bad Axe will head out on the road to square off against Cass City at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Akron-Fairgrove, they will challenge Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th.
