Mancos's Chace Sanders rumbled for the longest rushing play in A-8 West - Western (8 Man) this season in his game against Dove Creek last week.
Plateau Valley fell to Norwood 60-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Bulldogs' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jordan Ernst threw for 37 and 2 touchdowns and Dillon Daves had 27 yards receiving. On the ground Chance Randolph chipped in 224 yards. Case Baughman helped Dove Creek's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 10 yards.
Randolph provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Dove Creek beat the Bluejays. Randolph's favorite target this week was Daves, who caught 3 passes for 27 yards.
Randolph was a beast in the backfield as Shane Baughman's team bested Mancos.
Randolph was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 224 yards on 18 carries as the Bulldogs defeated Adam Priestley's team. Teammate Baughman added to the ground attack by rushing for 88 yards.
Dove Creek's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ernst has thrown for 611 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Nick Jones has 12 catches for 224 yards.
Randolph of the Dove Creek is only 100 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 97 carries Randolph has put up 900 yards this year.
As it stands, the Bluejays are in third, while the Mavericks are in first.
Norwood led the league in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on the Cowboys.
