Volleyball Recap: Brookfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Brookfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Springfield Tigers, falling 3-0. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-16.

Brookfield's offense was headlined by Elaina Boyce and MaRae Craig, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Rylie Burdge and her six assists. Boyce and Craig were also some pesky defenders, as each blocked five attacks.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Springfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Brookfield has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Champion on the 16th. As for Springfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Jackson-Milton on the 16th.
