Softball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 11-6 to the Spring Valley Grizzlies.

Fallon Johnson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Spring Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Delta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-8 defeat against Parowan on the 15th. As for Spring Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-11 win against Ogden on the 15th.
