Recap: High Point Central Bison vs. Dudley Panthers
This season hasn't been kind to the High Point Central Bison, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were outmatched by Dudley on the road and fell 86-1. High Point Central has struggled against Dudley recently, as their game on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, High Point Central struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Dudley pulled down 14 offensive rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dudley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aadriana Moses, who scored 21 points along with five steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. Nadia Vonreichbauer was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
High Point Central bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dudley, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Point Central will challenge Eastern Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dudley, they will head out on the road to face off against Atkins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Atkins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday.
