Joseph Lara Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Bonita got the W thanks in part to Joseph Lara playing the best football he has all season. Lara rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Lara and Bonita will venture away from home to square off against Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Lara up against the Titans' star RB Elijah Ybanez. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Bonita Wins Ninth-Straight Thanks to Noah Mikhail

Bonita picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Noah Mikhail. Mikhail was unstoppable, picking up two sacks, making nine total tackles, and defending two passes.

Charter Oak had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Mikhail it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mikhail saw the Chargers), he made 18 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended a pass.

Cole Parra was instrumental in extending Bonita's winning streak to nine on Friday. Parra picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending a pass.

Liam Mc Daniel Delivers Best Performance of Season

Colony was led to victory by Liam Mc Daniel, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mc Daniel threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 55 yards on only five carries.

Colony has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. Mc Daniel will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Bonita on Friday.

Bradley Came Up Big in Charter Oak's 49-21 Loss

Rounding off our Top Five is Marquis Bradley of Charter Oak. Bradley picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 56 yards.

With the loss, Charter Oak broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2. Bradley and Charter Oak will square off against Glendora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
