Leading First Baptist to victory were Meredith Quinn and Emily Kate Jones. Quinn scored 31 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Jones dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 rebounds. Jones is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kolbie Gillispie, who scored seven points along with six assists.
First Baptist's victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.8 points. As for Poetry Community Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

Poetry Community Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than ten points in their last ten games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
