Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Rowan County

Rowan County won against Lexington Catholic last Tuesday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Rowan County Vikings beat the Boyd County Lions by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 64-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-52 back in January.

Rowan County pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Boyd County, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.
