Baseball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Franklin-Simpson's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren East Raiders on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Franklin-Simpson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Warren East, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Franklin-Simpson has already played their next contest (against Westmoreland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Warren East, they will venture away from home to face off against Green County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
