Baseball Recap: North Beach Comes Up Short

North Beach fell victim to Ilwaco and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fishermen, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fishermen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

North Beach dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ilwaco, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.

Coming up, North Beach will challenge Raymond/South Bend at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ilwaco, they will take on Warrenton at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Fishermen surely won't give up without a fight.
