Volleyball Recap: Cedie Wills Key Part of Team Effort in Bobcats Win

Refugio won the last time they faced Ingleside and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats blew past the Mustangs 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bobcats have posted against the Mustangs since August 20, 2019.

While Refugio won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Refugio to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cedie Wills, who had 14 digs, four aces, and one block. That's the most aces Wills has posted since back in August. Caylee Collins was another key player, getting six digs and four aces.

Refugio's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-13. As for Ingleside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Refugio will take on Skidmore-Tynan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ingleside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calhoun at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
