Soccer Recap: North Cobb Takes a Loss

North Cobb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Cherokee. While losing is never fun, North Cobb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Cherokee is ranked 49th).

North Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Cherokee, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, North Cobb will challenge Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherokee, they will square off against Marietta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
