Volleyball Recap: Colton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Colton lost against Arroyo Valley back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets lost 3-0 to the Hawks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-13.

Arroyo Valley was led to victory by Monserrat Arredondo and Alahna Sanchez. Arredondo had five aces and three digs, while Sanchez had 17 digs and one assist. Sanchez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Colton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Arroyo Valley, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Colton has already played their next match (against Carter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Arroyo Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bloomington on the 25th.
