Softball Recap: Frontier Beats Waterford for Their Third Straight Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Frontier duked it out with Waterford on Monday. Frontier's pitcher stepped up to hand Waterford an 11-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2017.

Alexis Livingston was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Livingston, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

The victory (which was Frontier's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frontier will head out to face off against Ripley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waterford, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southern at 5:00 p.m. on April 3.
