Volleyball Recap: Cocke County Takes a Loss

Cocke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Sevier County Smoky Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Cocks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Cocke County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sevier County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Cocke County is headed away from home for the first time to take on Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sevier County, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Christ Presbyterian Academy on the 22nd.
