Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jamestown). Everything went their way against the York Falcons on Monday as the Jamestown Eagles made off with a 71-51 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won six in a row.

Despite the loss, York still got an impressive performance from Sarah Witt, who went 7-for-17 en route to 23 points. That was a full 45.1% of York's points, marking the third time in a row Witt has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aureliana Thorne, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points.

Jamestown's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for York, they dropped their record down to 0-18 with the defeat, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Jamestown has already played their next game, a 62-40 loss against Grafton on the 18th. As for York, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-37 defeat against Smithfield on the 18th.
