Softball Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short

Brainerd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-1 to the Marion County Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Marion County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brainerd will face off against East Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marion County, they will square off against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
