Recap: Caravel Buccaneers vs. Frankford Pioneers
On Sunday, Caravel was able to grind out a solid win over Frankford, taking the game 50-37. Given Caravel's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 17th in Delaware, while Frankford is ranked 543rd in Pennsylvania), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Frankford still got an impressive performance from Laquan Harrison, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and five assists. Harrison is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played.
Caravel now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Frankford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Caravel will be home for the holidays to greet Tatnall at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankford, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
