Soccer Recap: Foley Comes Up Short

Foley managed to keep up with Daphne until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions lost 4-1 to the Trojans. Foley have struggled against Daphne recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Foley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16-2. As for Daphne, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 14-3-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Foley and Daphne will both be playing Orange Beach the next time they take the pitch. The Lions will head out to face the Makos at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd, while the Trojans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
