Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jamesville-DeWitt). They walked away with an 85-78 victory over the Oswego Bucs on Thursday. Given the Red Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Bucs are ranked 207th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jamesville-DeWitt has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Oswego, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

When Jamesville-DeWitt and Oswego next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Jamesville-DeWitt will face off against Nottingham and their four-game winning streak at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oswego will try to stop Cortland's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
