Baseball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

Brooks was the 15-12 winner over Hatton when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Brooks Lions fell just short of the Hatton Hornets by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Brooks' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Hatton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Brooks will head out to take on Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hatton, they will host Austin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hatton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
