Cary-Grove scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Grant Community Bulldogs who were credited with the win. The Grant Community Bulldogs got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Cary-Grove Trojans' three. Cary-Grove just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Bryce Nordengren and Cristian Bautista scored both of Cary-Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Cary-Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grant Community, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
