Softball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord was the 4-2 winner over Genoa Central when they last played one another back in March of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Concord took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Genoa Central on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Genoa Central, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Concord didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 defeat against Fouke on the 22nd. As for Genoa Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Arkansas on the 22nd.
