Baseball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem lost against Northville on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rocks took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Rocks just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northville, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Pioneer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northville, they will host Walled Lake Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
