Southwest has won three straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Braddock has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Southwest Eagles will welcome the Braddock Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

Southwest is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Southridge. Southwest was the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Southridge on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Tatiana Perez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Perez was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Like Southwest, Braddock also got a great game from a two-way player: Emely Ramirez. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Ramirez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
