Basketball Recap: Shanley Drops Highest Score of Season Against West Fargo

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shanley). They claimed a resounding 86-56 victory over the West Fargo Packers. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Shanley pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for West Fargo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shanley will head out to face off against Fargo South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Shanley is facing Fargo South at the right time seeing as Fargo South is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for West Fargo, they will venture away from home to challenge Horace at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Horace knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully West Fargo likes a good challenge.
