Basketball Recap: American Heritage Comes Up Short

The Stallions were not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American Heritage Patriots. The Stallions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 57-54.

The Stallions' loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for the Patriots, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

The Stallions have already played their next matchup (against the Lions), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. The Patriots will challenge the Rams at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
