Soccer Game Preview: Coast Union vs. Immanuel

The Coast Union Broncos will challenge the Immanuel Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coast Union will be strutting in after a victory while Immanuel will be coming in after a loss.

Coast Union is headed into the matchup without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They rang in the new year with a 3-1 win over St. Joseph on Friday.

Meanwhile, Immanuel entered their contest against Liberty last Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Immanuel fell just short of Liberty by a score of 3-2. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Carter Zulik and Daniel Mamatkulov scored both of Immanuel's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Coast Union's victory bumped their record up to 7-0-1. As for Immanuel, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1-1.

Coast Union came out on top in a nail-biter against Immanuel in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Does Coast Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will Immanuel turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
