Softball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was the 14-1 winner over Rocklin when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Troubadours fell 6-1 to the Thunder on Wednesday. The Troubadours have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Francis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Lewis, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

St. Francis' record now sits at 2-12. As for Rocklin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, St. Francis is taking a road trip to challenge River City at 9:15 a.m. on the 19th. As for Rocklin, they will welcome Del Oro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Thunder 1.5, the Golden Eagles 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
