Football Preview: Ilwaco Fishermen vs. Morton/White Pass Timberwolves        
        
		
             Ilwaco is 0-3 against Morton/White Pass since September of 2021 but things could change  on Friday. The Ilwaco Fishermen will be playing at home against the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves  at 7:00  p.m. Ilwaco will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak dating back to last season.
 Last Friday, Ilwaco earned  a  28-20 win over Wahkiakum. The  victory was all the more spectacular given the Fishermen's disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings  (they are ranked 256th, while the Mules are ranked 35th).
 Meanwhile, Morton/White Pass took a  blow against Rainier on Friday, falling  64-34. The loss was the Timberwolves' first of the season.
 The losing side was boosted by   Judah Kelly, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in September of 2023.  Kohen Ingalsbe was another key player, gaining 100 total yards and a touchdown.
 Even though they lost, Morton/White Pass was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 295  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 276  rushing yards in three consecutive  contests.
 Ilwaco's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Morton/White Pass, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 2-1.
 Ilwaco was taken down by Morton/White Pass 42-0 in their previous matchup  back in October of 2022. Can Ilwaco avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
