Baseball Recap: Neosho Takes a Loss

Neosho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-2 to the Nixa Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Wednesday.

Neosho saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kanten Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Neosho's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Nixa, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-11.

Neosho has already played their next game (against Seneca), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Nixa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
