St. Francis and Holy Innocents Episcopal squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but St. Francis had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears by a score of 63-61. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

St. Francis' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cam Golston, who shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of G Rogers, who posted 16 points and five rebounds.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 28-3. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they have already played their next game, a 57-39 win against Hebron Christian on the 5th.
