Softball Recap: Parish Episcopal Panthers vs. Trinity Christian Trojans
Parish Episcopal was the 2-0 winner over Trinity Christian when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 7-6 on Friday.

Olivia Waterhouse put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Isabelle Shobe and Marley Martinez stepped up to the plate in a big way. Shobe scored a run while going 4-for-5, while Martinez scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Shobe also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Jade Hall-Wright was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Parish Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Trinity Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
