Channelview is 0-4 against Atascocita since September of 2016 but things could change  on Saturday. The Falcons will face off against the Eagles at 6:00  p.m. Channelview has given up an average of 42  points per game this season, but Saturday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Friday, Channelview ended up a good deal behind Goose Creek Memorial and lost  44-28.

  Tyson Debose put forth a good effort for the losing side as  he punched in two rushing scores, and also threw for 237 yards  on 17 of 26 attempts. He also put up a  rushing yard, which was his first of the season.  Darius Myles also helped with two TDs in total.
 Meanwhile, Atascocita lost to North Shore on the road  by a   47-28 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Mustangs are ranked seventh).
 Atascocita's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Channelview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
 Channelview was dealt a bruising  55-0 defeat at the hands of Atascocita in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
