Northwood had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 45-12 win over the Loyola College Prep Flyers. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Northwood pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points over those games. As for Loyola College Prep, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
