Basketball Recap: Central Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Central needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Delanee Duncan. The Central Bears came out on top against the Tarpon Springs Spongers by a score of 33-22 on Thursday thanks in part to Duncan, who posted six points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave her a new career-high.

Central's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Tarpon Springs, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-13 loss against Lecanto on the 17th. As for Tarpon Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-21 victory against Pasco on the 17th.
