Volleyball Recap: Pitman Comes Up Short

Pitman lost against Clovis back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pride took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Pride have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16.

Pitman's offense was headlined by Maryn Hall and Kayliyah Williams, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Izabella Ziencina and her 15 assists. Hall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Pitman's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Clovis, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Pitman has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Santa Barbara on the 13th. As for Clovis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Frontier on the 13th.
