Baseball Recap: Richton Takes a Loss

Richton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the Taylorsville Tartars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Richton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Richton's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Taylorsville, their record now sits at 6-14.

While Richton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
