Volleyball Recap: Bernards Comes Up Short

Bernards was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dayton Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mountaineers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Bernards' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dayton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Bernards wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bound Brook on the 9th. As for Dayton, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Rahway at 4:00 p.m.
