Softball Recap: Timber Creek Wolves vs. Oviedo Lions
Timber Creek won against Lake Mary last Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Timber Creek beat the Oviedo Lions by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolves have posted against the Lions since May 8, 2018.
Gabbi Scott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.

On the hitting side, Timber Creek let Mia Terrizzi and Lauren Scott run wild. Terrizzi scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Scott scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those two runs gave Scott a new career-high. Rowyn Joyce also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
