Football Recap: Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes vs. Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers

Coastal HomeSchool is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Southern Prep Academy. The Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes took a blow against the Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers, falling 62-34. The Hurricanes just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Coastal HomeSchool's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colin Wood, who threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.7 yards per attempt. Wood didn't just play on offense: he also made ten total tackles and defended a pass. 90 of Wood's passing yards were hauled in by Logan Wood.

Coastal HomeSchool didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Josh Ashton Millidge and Tristan Yaughn.
