Volleyball Recap: McDonough Takes a Loss + How To Watch

McDonough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Locust Grove Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warhawks of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13.

McDonough's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Locust Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, McDonough and Locust Grove will both be playing Ola the next time they take the court. The Warhawks will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
