Soccer Recap: Pleasanton Comes Up Short

Pleasanton and Wimberley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pleasanton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Texans, falling 4-1. Pleasanton haven't had much luck with Wimberley recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-2. As for Wimberley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-1-2 record this season.

Pleasanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wimberley, they will face off against Rockport-Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
